Peanut Butter Dog Treat

I don't know about you, but when I get out the peanut butter my dog immediately thinks it's for her. This is a pup-approved peanut butter biscuit recipe!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oats
  • 2 1/2 ripe bananas
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 300F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add oats to a food processor and grind until a fine powder. Fun fact, if you have any leftover baby oat cereal, this will work as well!
  3. Add bananas and peanut butter and pulse until a sticky dough has formed.
  4. Roll out on a lightly floured surface. Use wheat flour or leftover ground oats.
  5. Cut into any shape that your dog prefers!
  6. Bake treats on a prepared baking sheet for 25-30 minutes or until they have puffed up a bit. They will feel soft when first touched but will harden as they cool.
  7. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week, in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, or in the freezer indefinitely.
